Life is full of ups and down, good times and bad, obstacles and plain sailing, happiness and sadness. We are constantly balancing the scales between too much or too little certainty and variety in our lives, between feeling significant and unique and having love and connection with others, and the need to make a contribution and experience growth.
Throughout these trials and tribulations our lives are also filled with multiple thoughts, ideas, plans and concerns about what has happened in our past, and what we would like to do in the future. On top of this we are bombarded by the media, news, events, and interactions with family, friends and strangers.
It’s hardly surprising then that at times we will reach a point where our a-maze-ing lives start to pop out those four specific letters at us, and it all becomes a maze. We feel that we are not sure which direction to turn, as if everything is completely disorganised, and that we are not coping very well with life.
